The Hard Truth About Building Your Personal Brand The Right Way

September 9th, 2016|Categories: Sales, social media, Social Selling|Tags: , , , |

This was my third time doing the Salesman.red podcast and it's more fun each and every time.  Will Barron took this one a different direction and didn't ask me any questions about social selling... We [...]

"Jack really brings a different perspective and edge to the world of social media. We have partnered on a number of different initiatives to drive awareness, engagement and registrants all of which have been massively successful. Jack's creative ideas and approach really helps to differentiate and stand-out. I continue to learn so much from him about all of the different technology that is available and would strongly recommend him and Creation Agency to any company / individual looking to increase their brand online."
Tim Clarke, Director Product Marketing , Salesforce
"Jack crowdsources success and constantly influences change for himself and those around him! I have never had a conversation with Jack without learning something valuable. His hard work and pioneering in social sales was ahead of its time and I have enjoyed watching him grow into an industry thought leader."
Shawn Naggiar, Chief Business Officer , Moxtra
"Jack truly talks the talk and walks the walk. It's a rare quality these days to find someone who is not only passionate about what they do, but can really back it up. Jack is both a thinker and an executioner, and if I could clone him I would. Looking forward to working with Jack on many more things in the near future."
Max Altschuler, CEO and Founder , Sales Hacker
Naturally, Jack and I met online. We are both power connectors in #socialselling, but want to forge relationships that deliver impact for others and/or brands. When you connect with Jack he wants to get to know you and your brand’s needs, so he listens and offers meaningful solutions or suggestions. He also goes a step further and makes additional connections or provides resources to solve your business problem. There isn’t a single connection Jack has made that did not bring value to my network or impact my bottom line. If you are facing a business problem in a digital world, I highly suggest a chat with my friend, Jack.
Katharine Mobley , CMO, Speaker
Jack was kind enough to work with me on a Calendly marketing project, and he was fantastic to partner with through the entire process. Jack blends an analytical approach with genuine care and compassion for his prospects, and his willingness to share his knowledge shines through so clearly.

When I envision a sales expert who leads by helping (vs. taking), I hands-down envision Jack.

Claire Suellentrop, Calendly
There are doer's and followers. There are those who embrace change and those who fight it are accept it, Jack is both, a doer and a change creator.

Packed with off the chart enthusiasm and energy, Jack lets no opportunity go unnoticed. Opportunity is not safe when Jack is around.

Jack's uncanny knack to capitalize on and or create opportunities before others is brilliant. He always seems to be one step ahead of everyone else, driving forward, discovering how to execute and win before the rest of the world wakes up.

This drive, passion, and amazing dexterity is a boon for the companies and people Jack commits to.

I've never met a person who so personifies "giving" as an art to business.

Jack's a winner.

Jim Keenan, CEO, A Sales Guy
In my role as an editor at Act-On, I get to connect with people all across our company and our partner companies. Jack is, simply, a stand-out. He's utterly committed, totally fearless, completely authentic, and a whirling dervish of energy. He's also a planner, so all this energy is directed to useful ends and achieving his (and his company's) goals. He's clearly a leader in the nascent field of social selling, and I'm looking forward to watching him continue to blaze this trail.
I got to know Jack through his effective use of social media tools like Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. Passion can be an overused word in some circles but it describes Jack’s approach to his profession. He goes way beyond the typical “tweeter”, digging deep into the why as well as the how of being effective in his career. He is an open-minded learner and seeks information in every engagement I have witnessed.

Not one to rest on his already noteworthy sales accomplishments, he explores every facet of a topic that he perceives has opportunity embedded within, and digs and explores until he discovers information that most would never have discovered. He is an effective listener, considering everything that he comes across before making up his mind for himself. Jack is a bright star and anyone will do well to connect and engage with him. You will be better off for it.

Miles Austin , CEO, Fill The Funnel
At first I heard a rumor of a sales professional that was using social media in unconventional ways and crushing it. It didn't take long to track him down. His voice on social media was getting louder and he was saying all of the right things. From the first phone call I had with him, I was sure that he was going to go one to do great things in the space of social selling, and he's proven me right around every corner.

Jack may very well be the best practitioner of social selling that I have known. No fluff, always focused on the ROI, and no tolerance for the status quo of measuring effectiveness on purely vanity metrics.

I would recommend Jack twice if it would help, but once should be enough. If you're looking for a someone to take your business to the next level, you should talk to Jack. He's the real deal.

His ability to learn, build relationships and close deals through unique social selling strategies is what sets him apart and make him the BEST social seller that I've ever met. He's confident, helpful, and always finds a way to get stuff done. I highly recommend him, and I"m stoked for his bright future ahead.
